Who is Ebenezer

We are two brothers, Larry and Donnie Kusic.

We were raised in Rincon, Georgia, right down the road from the piece of land settled by our ancestors in 1736. It was called “New Ebenezer”, an “ebenezer” being a stone of remembrance. It was God’s faithfulness that preserved our forefathers. We, their distant grandsons, serve the same faithful God. This musical endeavor is a reminder that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights. We have been given much, and we are grateful.

We are both staff pastors at churches, and in-between work and family, our great love is music.

We were given our first lessons by our grandfather. We sang from the hymnal, we sang about moonshine and buzzards and we even sang about devil’s grandmother. And as we played and sang, music became a passion.

We grew up in a large family that valued faith, tradition, good food, and the kind of laughs that come all the way up from your toes. We were blessed immeasurably by such an upbringing, and are seeking to give the same gift to our children.
